What is ShoeReviewList?

ShoeReviewList is a running shoe aggregator that compiles reviews from trusted sources across the web into one searchable database. We aggregate data from established running publications, YouTube reviewers, Reddit communities, and independent testers.

Our goal is simple: save you time. Instead of cross-tabbing between dozens of sites to research your next pair of shoes, you can find aggregated ratings, key specs, and summaries all in one place.

Our Mission

Every runner deserves access to honest, comprehensive shoe reviews without the bias of affiliate-driven recommendations or pay-to-play placement.

We believe in:

  • Transparency — We link directly to original reviews so you can read the full analysis and form your own opinion.
  • Aggregation over curation — We show you what multiple sources say, not just what we want you to hear.
  • Runner-first data — Lab specs like stack height, plate type, and energy return matter to serious runners. We make that data accessible.
  • No fluff, no hype — We present facts (lab data, specs, aggregated ratings) and measured opinions (review summaries), not marketing copy.

Methodology

Our review aggregation process prioritizes credibility and comprehensiveness:

  1. Source selection — We include reviews from established running publications, verified YouTube reviewers with demonstrated expertise, active Reddit communities, and independent testers who publish structured reviews.
  2. Data collection — Reviews are collected via direct links to original content. We index the title, source, date, rating, and summary.
  3. Rating normalization — Different sources use different scales (5 stars, 10/10, 100-point). We normalize these to a 0-100 scale for easy comparison.
  4. Update cadence — New reviews are added regularly. Dead links are flagged and removed.

Note: We do not conduct our own lab testing or running shoe reviews. All review content belongs to the respective original sources.
